hi it's me vilmibm i'll give it to you straight: no town con this year. as in, i'm not collecting submissions and making a schedule and declaring a venue and all of that. maybe next year. however i'm here using my vaunted perch as tilde.town founder admin to declare

a special weekend of celebration on october 17th and 18th

OPTION THE FIRST deposit your MEATSELF in the sunny foggy city of San Francisco where you are guaranteed to be hot at least once a day but also cold at least once a day. you will also hate all the stupid billboards. you will hate them so much! but that's ok because we're going to go sit in golden gate park and think about trees and the invisible technogossamer that binds us all together & across this big orb. perhaps a noise show in a dark forgotten hole? irc from a ruin? friday postcard of a slug just trying to get to the drum circle on hippie hill? quake lan party in a dumpster? i do not know my merry ttysters. what we do depends on who shows up. sadly i can't really lodge people this time around BUT you can set up a tent on my spacious porch if you want.
