Description

This recipe is a slightly modified version of this recipe by ritualdust.

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup steel-cut oats
• 1 cup water
• 2 tbsp plant-based milk
• 1/4 cup dried cranberries
• 1/3 cup whole pecans
• 1/4 tsp cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp cardamom
• 1/4 tsp cloves
• 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Directions

1. In a bowl, combine spices
2. In a small pot, combine the oats and water
3. Cook on medium until boiled (~7 minutes), constantly stirring
4. Stir in the plant-based milk and cook for another minute or so
5. Add the oats to the bowl and mix well
6. Top with cranberries and pecans

Suggested Alterations

Originally this recipe had 1 tsp of brown sugar, but no longer include it. If you like things sweeter you could add that.
