It's legit incredible how actually heavy the megacorp websites are. Playing a video on an "indie/fedi" platform is 10000x times faster, and you can really "feel" that the site is "done" or ready for interaction. Meanwhile using $megacorp browser visiting their own video platform feels like falling down the stairs; and it's the exact same computer! It's pathetic, what an immense waste of time and energy. It's 2024!!
