FIRST off Technology does Strange!!! and WEIRD things around me!!!!! Like just earlier. I was just using my laptop and I tried to fullscreen the SSH client and the computer crashed to black!!! And then it came back on the lock screen? like I had to log in again and everything.
Also there was this one time I was watching Markiplier or something on my laptop and I was holding my phone and it fell out of my hand and hit my laptop right next to the mouse and under the keyboard
And it BLUE SCREENED!!!!!!
It gave some sort of error code about like, the frame reference thing getting corrupted???? Thinking it might have like, stuttered or fucked something up in the display situation while trying to show a video and got corrupted about the screen refresh or something. who knows
Oh also there was this one time I was trying to use a vending machine on campus. They accept money off the student card or like credit and debit cards usually. So I tried to get some Junior Mints before class.
I pulled out my debit card but when I swiped, the little display threw up an error popup that straight up looked like something from Windows 95. Like XP at the LATEST. And it said there was some error and rebooted
And when it rebooted it showed the MAC address for the vending machine. I took a pic, and I'm still trying to think of if I could do anything with the number!!! Maybe bypass something and get free snacks who knows.
Also I went to see The Batman (and also the Sonic 2 movie with Jim Carrey) this week and there was a little arcade area in the theatre and one of the racing machines had another error popup!!!
Like there was a mouse on the screen but like the error gave some hex address and there was no way to move the mouse that was on the screen. We tried moving the little wheel but it didn't work.

My laptop also has a situation where the screen doesn't always wake up when it goes to sleep. A lot of the time I have to completely turn it off and on again with the power button. Still wish I could figure out a fix for it, or a new laptop.
Also, there was this really interesting situation when I was a lot younger. I must have been like, in elementary school. I was in the car and getting driven out of the driveway and my mom saw this pink DS Lite in the driveway and picked it up and gave it to me. It had Mario and Luigi: Bowsers Inside Story and it was my absolute favorite thing in the world. So simple but so amazing. Pictochat was crazy!!!! I remember huddling under blankets in like, church, while other kids were watching veggie tales and pictochatting my friend right next to me, and laughing at the name "bob." I loved DS games so much. The first pokemon game I played was my neighbor's copy of Platinum - we were all talking about wanting to get the new ones, Black and White, but the neighbors that introduced me first to pokemon cards and then to the games had platinum. I used his copy for a while and messed around. He had a really high level torterra. At some point a couple of years later, maybe, I was looking for a pokemon game, and the cheapest one was White 2 for like 15 dollars. I played it and I fucking LOVED IT. I spent so many hours in that game. It was formative for me. I still remember Sammy the Samurott. I think I still have the save copy on the same cart. It was wonderful. The post game is the best post game in any game in my opinion. I love it.
I had some sort of iPad early on, but I bent it real bad over my knee when I was playing Geometry Dash.
Eventually I started having little ipods or iphones of my own, and I'd listen to whatever music had come on them. My friends sometimes gave me old ones.
Usually I had to borrow the phone or the laptop from my mom, though. I got my first laptop sometime in high school, I think.
One time I was playing a bootleg pokemon game and it switched to a "you have a virus! call this number!" and I got so scared, I hard shut down the laptop, I took the battery out and left it out for a while!!
Why the fuck is Windows so shittily designed. I fucking hate windows. Oh my god. It is so fucking terrible and slow and so clunky and I wish I had linux installed on here already!!!!! Maybe I should think about saving for a new laptop.
I want to totally rehaul how I use stuff. Tech makes me really happy sometimes but there are definitely ways for me to do it better.

So I've been coding these pages in html and css from scratch. I remember all the basics of html because that was an on and off interest of mine, I really wanted to learn html and learn how to code. I would like, do inspect element on the chromebooks in class and change elements and tell the other kids i was "hacking" it. I would learn a lot of little shortcuts, or learn how webpages were coded. Or I would get like a book on it or something, and code right in a folder on my laptop and try to open the html files in a browser. I downloaded Notepad++ at some point too to help. I never did a whole lot of css - I would do in-line styling sometimes to color stuff but I had no idea about /div tags or anything.
I literally just went to try to figure out the content padding on the inside of the div class and i set /p to have like margin 50px and it broke my div classes???? Like they're all broke right now and I've been reworking code and loading my page up and even in seperate or private browsers for cookies and its broke!!! ohh my god how like I literally already undid the code that was doing it. I don't know how I broke it. It's nuts cause like I was just about to write here that for like, archival purposes, all of this website that I manage to make while I'm 19 years old is gonna be saved as it is. If I rework or add to pages then I'll make a seperate backup and do stuff there. But like. I don't want the messed up css to be saved!!!!! I want it to at least go back to what I was working with :( Plus I do want to figure out the padding situation with the text.
I figured out some stuff!!!! Went through a lot of breaking and fixing things but I made a new stylesheet and everything. I really like how I laid things out. Happy with stuff now!!! And I love love love this aesthetic anyway.
