I have been praying to, admiring, and following Aphrodite since middle school. I'll be real. It did start with the Percy Jackson books. But I was really resonating with the idea of deities, I took a particular liking to Egyptian and Greek deities. I really resonated with Bastet, Hephaestus, Apollo, and Aphrodite and Athena. I prayed to Aphrodite for courage before giving my number to someone I had a crush on by walking in a circle for 3 hours outside and asking her for help and giving myself a pep talk.
I have a poster of the Birth of Venus hung in my room above my bed. I sketch Aphrodite, I pray to her, I keep her in mind and always feel secure in her presence. It is a tremendously healing experience, especially considering my spirituality and belief system as a whole.
I have a relationship with Aphrodite that is so wonderful, so fulfilling, and so essentially understood and believed.
Last night was the full moon and I did a ~full moon ritual jar~. It was amazing and I love the energy. It was a good experience.
I read tarot cards!!! I have been reading tarot cards since I was 16 years old. I've had a good handful of decks with me through the years. One was a traditional Rider-Waite, one was Medieval Cats themed, and my current deck has a "modern" artstyle. It's really 2d and stylized.
I've been trying to teach myself Javascript so I can code together an online tarot program that uses actual random data from the RANDOM.org API. In my belief system, pseudorandomness is a barrier to proper divination, so I want a more effective tarot program. I wanna know this program inside and out. Still working on it though!!
