So I'm still at the beginning of the game here and I'm making my way through the first route or two, fighting a couple of trainers. The first kid I fought had a Rotom. Was tough to beat but I made it through alright. I even caught a Maracachi (Maractus). But then I stumble upon this joker:
This little dude has two pokemon. The first one wasn't that odd, so I didn't pay attention to it while I was beating it. But then. Ohohohoh then I triggered this gentleman's trap card...

What kinda 7 year old has a Jirachi!!!!!!!! What is this kids life like!!!! Who are his parents?!?!?!?!?!
Plus, since I was fighting a legendary, it was soooooo hard to do anything to. The Jirachi had Wish (Voeu) and used it ALL THE TIME.
It also had some other banger moves. See here one of the biggest reasons that this was my second 40-turn battle of the game:
Ça rend Lacuna confus! This confuses Lacuna the Vaporeon!! Because of course Lacuna is confused at seeing an entire Jirachi in front of him 15 minutes after being let out in the world!!!
It took a lot of back and forth but finally I prevailed.
Jirachi fainted and I went on my way once I could hit it enough times in between Wishes. And, as my pokemon leveled up, I got the option to teach it a new move!
I wasn't sure what Pistolet á O was but I think it's a play on "eau" (water) and it might be like, water gun or something. I figured out "coup d'Main" was basically Helping Hand and would be useless for a while, so I sacked it. Now Lacuna has a great water-type attacking move!!!! Was very rewarding :)
