I've never owned a BBC Micro, but I'm on Twitter and there's a BBC Micro bot that will take BBC BASIC code you tweet at it and show you the results.
The BBC Micro allows you to create your own 8x8 characters for use in programs, here are a few I've made (except the dog, that comes from the manual), remember to change #charnum# to your desired character number
