MY RECOMMENDED INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT READS

My reccommended reads for if you're interested in reading about development. All these reads are fairly introductory and not too poncy with words.

The Divide: A brief Guide to Global Inequality and its Solutions. By Jason Hickel

Prisoners of Geography. By Tim Marshall

Poor Economics: A radical rethinking of the way to fight global poverty. By Abhijit V. Banerjee and Esther Duflo.

The Routledge Handbook of Queer Development Studies. Edited by Corinne L. Mason -- Admittedly this one is a little more poncy and a little less introductory but you best believe I'm advocating for LGBTQ+ inclusion in development and this is the most clear, expansive and accessible book I've found yet
