2025-12-26: We should bring back the term "Partner" as a form of address

We should bring back the term "partner" as a friendly/casual way to address someone.

It's gender-neutral, unlike the common "man", "dude", "brother", "son", etc.
It doesn't feel like it's being presumptuous about the status of a relationship, like with "friend" or "buddy"
It doesn't set off people scared of perceived associations with the term "comrade"
It has the obvious potential of being used with the fun-to-say "Howdy, partner!"
It can be shortened to "pard" for extra casualness
