I had gotten back into reading via sci-fi, and the Culture series really changed my life. Since then I've broadened my horizons and finally diving into The Power Broker by Robert Caro was another defining moment, the care and thoroughness of what he writes about is PERFECT for my brain, I'm so glad he does what he does. Finding books after I finish this series will be tough. I'll try re-reading the Culture books every so often for pleasure as well as helping with ideas for little short stories..
