This is website still very much Under Construction™, and will be joined by a pod in Geminispace (and a Gopherhole?) soon!
I'll be using this as a bit of a way to document/journal some of the weird things I do, and I may well also look at taking advantage of the invitation to talk about #feels here on tilde.town. I'm thinking some of the topics I'll look to write about are:
- Being carless in regional AU/Vic
- Setting up a home server, triggered by Spotify being absolute jerks
- This is fast becoming a Rube Goldberg machine
- Jellyfin
- So I need to learn Docker
- I also need to learn Wireguard
- ZFS
- Finding a suitable/willing person to host ANOTHER machine (that I'm yet to buy) as a backup target, becuase I don't want to pay for a VPS
- NextCloud
- I may regret this haha
- My amateur radio setup, which I'm just in the beginnings of building
- I may occasionally write about being a volunteer firefighter
I will be making the website a bit more pretty, but I kinda like how it's looking now, so it won't change a lot. I'm optimising the site for viewing in both Firefox & Lynx.
