On career again. The management is considering promoting me to the next level
again. To be honest that hasn't been my first priority, since I've been mostly
focused on learning and trying to stay relevent in this worsened job market
and dim IT outlook. If I think about it, I feel my recent popularity has
mostly been sustained by external support from a few people. While I did seize
the opportunities, I'm not sure if I have the confidence of
self-sustainability (or will I ever?). So I'm a bit worried. But I also tell
myself not to worry, as who knows how long my career will be? And why not
seize every opportunity while where is one.

One thing is sure, that is keep learning, and keep the pace at learning and
improving.
