I do not consider myself a great cook, but I can follow directions, I enjoy the process, and I've occasionally made some decent food. One of the best things about food, though, is sharing it with others, especially people I care about. I'd love to share my food with you, but it's a little difficult over the internet. So, the next best thing is sharing how I make some of my favorite foods, and that way you can try them wherever you are!
A few of the recipes I'll list here come from friends and family, but most are conglomerations of various internet recipes. If I have a direct source, I'll be sure to link it. These have evolved over time as I adapt them to my tastes, but I know that's not universal so I encourage you to experiment and add your own flavors.
The tabular recipe layout is inspired by the venerable Cooking for Engineers. I've generated all the pages below with my own scripts, which are available on ~town's gitea instance with all the nerdy details. Also, you can hover over a table cell for more details, if available, though I have not been able to make this work on mobile.
