My elite hacking skills at 9 years old

A funny story I recall from my childhood:

My oldest brother got a computer when we were young. It was an old office pc from my dad's job that was closing down and being acquired. It ran Windows 98. My brother used it to play video games, of course: C&C Red Alert, Deadlock: Planetary Conquest, Starcraft, and Half-Life are the ones I most remember watching over his shoulder as he played; There were some simulation/city builders in there, too, Pharaoh, SimCity, SimTower and the like.

Naturally I wanted to play, too. When my brother wasn't home, I'd go into his room, and he'd find me playing games when he got home. He didn't like this, so he put a password on his account so I couldn't log in. I still tried though; I tried to guess his password (and failed, obvs). But there was one hole in the locked-down fortress of Windows 98. On the login screen, there was a cancel button.

I don't know precisely what it was doing, I was like 9 or 10. But I guess it logged me in as a guest? and gave me full access to all programs installed, including save games? Solid security.

When my brother found me playing games on his computer again, he forced me to reboot and show him how I bypassed the foolproof security. I remember him being dumbfounded when I pressed cancel and ended up in a fully usable environment.
