While clearly inspired by Vampire Survivor, it's more expensive, so is it worth it. Short answer, yes. Long answer:

It's a 3D game with quite a lot of sprites animation and they've clearly had a field day balancing the whole thing. It's a clone yes, but it's everything but shovelware. As long as you're trying to take on new challenges and not mindlessly grind earlier levels, you're always in for a challenge. Most actual challenges aren't that hard, but you'll want to take on a few at a time, which will make the game pretty spicy.

I really appreciated the variety, even early on as you are forced into uncorfortable choices by randomness and vastly different characters.
