Great game that does it a lot more for me than any Pokemon game ever did. I love the fusion mechanic and I especially love having the possibility of fighting strong fused monsters in the wild.

The story is also super cool, the characters are actually developed and aren't all 10-15 year old kids. I do feel like you get the short end of the stick as a person, since you have to beat all the captains in a battle while you are clearly told everyone has their own trial. On that note, the battles are both strategic enough and tough enough that you mostly can't just ignorantly bruteforce them with a strong starter, like in another franchise... Also no bull about being friends with your fighting dogs, since you yourself transform into the monsters.
