Huge disappointment. While the story holds up for the most part, this should basically have been an anime and not a game. The graphics are beautiful and the characters are charming, but in terms of gameplay, the under-use of the time mechanic is really holding the game back. Most later bosses are outright immune to it and some even punish you for using it against them, this soon extends to normal enemies and you're just gonna develop a strategy to deck as many damage as you can as quickly as you can, regardless of the enemy, like in every other JRPG. Couple that with 0 replayability, and you get a disappointing game.

Worth watching a let's play though, it's really gorgeous.
