Got to the end on my second playthrough, but by the skin of my teeth... The game seems pretty well balanced.

Don't pay too much attention to the skimpy outfits if it's not your thing, it's an okay strategy game and allocating your crew will make you stop for a minute and think. There is often no perfect answer. You have to make do.

The lore is pretty basic and uninteresting IMO but the non-linear nature of the story means you can try to mix and match your approach and try to achieve the best possible outcome on this journey.
