If the question is between this and Stardew Valley, take the latter, no hesitation. I bought it for the premise and I don't regret it, though it could have been cheaper.

Yes you get to build the town however you like, but the graphics aren't that good and you'll probably mostly go with just wooden buildings anyways. Roofs obscure your vision a lot too, so this is limiting.

I liked the dragon fights, but don't expect anything of the scenario. There is basically none. Even the characters have nothing more to say to you after some point.

All in all, even more hollow than Rune Factory, but at least, cheaper.
