It's my fault, I didn't look deeply enough into it before I bought it, so I didn't get what I was expecting. I was expecting a JRPG with a combat system like Dragon Quest, where you play as several characters. Instead it's more like a mystery dungeon and you play a single character at a time.

Now, what I got does hold up. It's fun to play and a real challenge, having to be both upgraded and geared enough to reach the end, but not taking too much time or the darkness will catch up to you. It's a dungeon crawler that found a way to get out of a dungeon and I appreciate that.

Is it great ? No. Is it a good time ? Certainly.
