I played those games in order and until the third is finally fan translated, this is probably the best game I have access to on the GBA. I love how they twisted random encounters into action combat. The adventure is not a great epic, but very good still. Your character is silly and the humor hits, most time. There is a weird dating sim part thrown randomly in there, but it's very anecdotic at most. They removed most of the weird quirks of the first one, so you don't have to jump all the time for instance and crafting weapons takes actual ingredients, not generic resources.
