blackout poetry tool

Blackout poetry is a form of poetry created by covering all but a select group of words in a source text, creating new meanings and juxtapositions by this omission. Typically this is achieved with black-on-white printed text and a black marker. This tool helps you assemble something similar electronically. You can enter your own source text, and the tool will cover all the words for you; you can then reveal them one at a time by mousing over and clicking them.

This tool is inspired by ~kc's blackout poetry gizmo using a quote from George Orwell's 1984.
