i was a tourist in my own closet

there were no descriptions of the items on display

just the security guard on duty
staring at me
telling me "no drinks allowed"
every time i pulled out my water bottle

"but no one said i couldn't" i said
but he just responded with "i don't care"

all i knew
was that i just had to wear the outfit
and everything would be okay
and it would all go away

but little did i know
that my visa had already expired
before i even got there
