Special Containment Procedures: Item severed at C3 vertebra. Hydrocolloid dressing inhibits regrowth; check weekly for pus. Store at room temperature in well-lit room.

Description: Regenerable skin graft source. Harvest sites regenerate in approx. 2-6 hours depending on size/area. Effect is inhibited when obstructed; the catalyst was determined to be blood with air. Moisture provides an adequate seal.

Mild regrowth persists on larger severed portions. Bulk organ harvest considered initially possible but ruled out; rejection risk high owing to hostile donor antibodies.

Small doses of blood carry low risk of secondary regrowth or rejection. Type (AB+) inhibits widespread transfusion use. Conversion via marrow replacement (experimental femoral stent, moderately invasive, 9-11 months asset downtime) is being considered.

Inertness can be preserved with current procedures. Item's consent obtained in 1962 (see file #M006-G1). Residual movements (twitching, "sketching") are somatic reflex arcs.
