Goosey Goosey Gander
This is a silly little poem from the 18th century.
Goosey Goosey Gander - Wikipedia
I sketched out the capital letters in Lombardic Versals with pencil, outlined them in black with India ink, using a crow claw #102 nib with a dip pen. I then filled in the letters with india ink and acrylic ink using a fine tip brush (5/0). The rest of the words are done with a #512 nib dipped in Windsor & Newton Sepia non-waterproof acrylic ink.
Goosey Goosey Gander
Goosey goosey gander,
Whither shall I wander?
Upstairs and downstairs
And in my lady's chamber.
There I met an old man
Who wouldn't say his prayers,
So I took him by his left leg
And threw him down the stairs.
