birthday! not much planned other than grabbing dinner with some college friends, but i am now one year older than i was a year ago (to be fair, this is true every day). i've kinda been having a birthday week since i celebrated with my family before i moved out for school, and some of my friends aren't in town yet so there'll probably be something later too. good times

i think it might be fun to start recording stuff, so i'll start writing here, mostly just to throw stuff out into the void. if someone actually reads this, hi! this first blog post won't actually have much substance, i'm just making sure the publishing works and all that. is putting "hello world" in here too corny? i guess i just did it. too late.
