The graffiti that litters the backgrounds is probably my
favorite detail in rain world. No matter how bitterly cold,
crushingly lonely, or suffocatingly claustrophobic an area is, there
is often evidence that someone was there before you in its current
state.
i felt moderately distraught when i found myself stuck
in the gutter during my saint campaign. this little guy brought me
great joy
it can also be pretty goofy like this dude taking fat
bong rips in farm arrays
additionally, sometimes graffiti serves as notes from those before
you volunteering information to any future passerbys. incredibly
useful for high interest but obscurely located destinations!
here is a sign which points to an easily-missable
shelter in underhang. interestingly, this note is not there when
playing spearmaster, who is the earliest scug in the
timeline. which means someone came by after you and marked
it!
