I'm feeling a bit unsettled, but in general, better.

I think there's something about the seasons in the past few years. The summers are opressively hot, and I think that our entire family goes into an almost low-power mode while we wait for the summer to pass by. We don't go outside as much, we don't do as much on the house, we don't go out and do things, we don't socialize -- we essentially hibernate as much as possible. Fall comes, and we're starting to bake and cook more, get outside and see nature more, and just lots of general... living.

Talked a bit with a friend recently about alternatives to the modern commercial internet, and realized that I don't come onto tilde.town as much as I would like. I've got this habit of finding spaces that interest me a great deal, but then not inhabiting them. See the too-many-discords problem -- I've joined way too many, but I don't really spend time in them.

There's also this feeling of being perpetually busy (yay! capitalism!) that prevents me from doing the things that I actually like to do.

Time for tea, coziness, all the fall things.
