The snow definitely persisted overnight, and it's been my first snowy weekday of the season. I forgot how harrowing it is to walk on ice, and it was a little scary, but in the end we got there on time. The bus wasn't actually too delayed- the roads seem fairly clear, generally speaking, it's just the sidewalks that make me feel like a tiny little penguin slamdunked down into the Arctic or something along those lines.
Packed myself a hot coffee, even though I typically don't bother to reduce the weight that I carry in the mornings, as a little yummy treat to myself. We have soy milk in the house, so that's also nice, even if I think that out of all of the alternate plant milks, I do prefer oat, if I get a say in things. But soy's way cheaper, and frankly, anything is an improvement over the battery acid black coffee that I chug back most of the time.
Have been a bit more active on Instagram, just to summarize the weekend and share some of the exciting snow pictures with my friends. Very sleepy. Woke up by the alarm's blaring for once, and I blame the comfy weight of the heavy pink duvet that I pulled out last night- no more waking up early because I got too cold with my thinner blanket kicked off of me.
No idea if my group mate is coming today or tomorrow to work on our project together, either way, I'm locked down in the building for about seven hours to get shit done. A bit behind on laundry. Fine on socks for this week, though.
Update: We met up to work on the group project, and I got a bit speckled down for sources to use for the independent write up component, with a plan to meet next Monday to touch base. Scraped together some resources and all of the evidence points I'll need to work on my essay for another class. And a decent chunk of reading into papers. Also updated my email progress bulletin, and chased down some other admin tasks. SO SLEEPY... Mondays are normally my admin days, so today has been STUFFED full. Unexpectedly frees up Tuesday as a day to grind away on my thesis, though.
