The group recording went well, and we managed to wrap up all of the fussy post-production work on my end of things at least then and there, which was good. The program is sort of... reclusive, still, but I tried my best to be social, so there's no faulting me there.

We wrapped up a bit earlier than usual, so I just wound up using it to work on my personal stuff, and detoured to the library, since it is closer to the usual bus stop that I take, anyway. So it shaves off like ten minutes of walking around. Gave a tour of the facilities to one of my classmates who's new to the campus as well, so there's my good deed for the day. Finally got some downtime to send that important email that I tried not to overthink- and my morning meeting went well, we have a solid sense of future directions to move our work into, so that's good. Just catching up with my personal dailies at the moment for the most part.

Will be a bit of a busy Thursday/weekend, but my guy cancelled our meeting tomorrow, so that works out.

Also, department mixer resulted in me getting to know early when classes are going to be held, when they're doing the new Winter term's mixer (Tuesday mornings, yippee- I already know which classes I want to take, so it shouldn't be a burden for me to attend, and I like hanging out in the grad space anyway for that time in between...)

And got my usual cookie. Tried the German Chocolate Cake pod, and it was okay, I still prefer the other one that I'm forgetting the name of. Caramel whatsits. Grabbed an Aero bar for the road from the Halloween candy we had out.

Part of trying to be brave and really enjoy my Masters program is making the most of the social opportunities we get- so I've reserved a ticket to attend the end of year social even if literally absolutely no one I know is attending. Hopefully my friends in the program come, but if not, I'll have a nice dinner by myself with the admin assistant, maybe one of my profs, and the program director, LOL. Might see if they'll allow Isi as a +1 if he pays...

Had one of my groupmates thank me today for helping out with the e-signature component, and compiling the script- since his laptop was busted, and I made sure all agreed on the fiddly bits while we were in the same room. It's surprising to have people react with gratitude, but that was pleasant.
