Apple launches Shortcuts

I guess we’re grownups now. With the release of Apple’s Shortcuts app, x-callback-url is now a supported standard documented on Apple’s site!

Google Maps and PlainText join the x-callback-url family

Phillip Gruneich had a few good finds. Looks like Hog Bay’s excellent PlainText has added x-callback-url support.

Also, though undocumented by Google, it has apparently made it’s way into the Google Maps app.

TextExpander Touch 2.0 adds x-callback-url in the SDK

The new update to TextExpander Touch (v2.0 – shipping soon), has extended their SDK to support “Fill-in” snippets. To implement this feature, Smile Software used x-callback-url under the hood. Very cool and creative use! Details in the TextExpander Touch SDK documentation.
