T: How are y'all feeling post election?
R: Def glad we moved to Canada
A: and excited to knocks on wood be citizens this year
R: This may have changed the equation in whether or not we renounce US citizenship
T: But what about our families? Our future job options?

R: That's true. The odds of Canada becoming weird and the US become a safe haven, in our lifetime seems dubious at best.
T: So sounds like we're leaning towards renouncing US citizenship.
A: scary!

A: and I wanna do something!
T: Maybe we can work on the looper for our bass
R: Yeah, that's something we've wanted to do, but we're often too high in the evening to do something with such a large cognative overhead.
T: Something something pipewire something something OSS software, which surely just works /s
A: I wanna write a haiku!
R: How about we make some coffee, get situated, and do some enjoyable computing
T: That sounds nice!
A: can I write the haiku first?
R: Sure Anie, knock yourself out
