Be me, make a client for https://thephilosophyforum.com/
Start off well, code doesn't look too bad
Incrementally add more features
Decide to add bookmarks to save interesting threads
Decide to hack it and leave the clean up for future self
Now code looks horrible, full of hacky stuff and know full well that I won't be fixing it anytime soon
