Don't expect well written entries. I use this as a "personal diary", it simply happens to be public.

From July 2nd to the 7th I was in Athens, Greece. Went there for my auntie's 80th birthday. This was my 2nd time going to Athens, the first time was way back in 2008 (or maybe it was 2009, I was very little).

It is still as I remembered it, pretty much an open air dump. The historical sites are beautiful, and the city center well kept. But the rest of the city sucks ass. The garbage is left out in the streets in open garbage bins, and because of the hot weather it starts stinking the streets.

A big plus is the fact that the restaurants are way cheaper compared to what you'd normally eat in Milan. The prices of drinks at bars are more or less the same.

Another thing I really appreciated about Athens is the fact that even tho temperatures are comparable to Milan it is not as humid, tho that's an issue with Milan and not really a pro of Athens.

Overall the experience was good, I would've loved to stay a few more days, I didn't even have to pay for accommodations since I stayed at my auntie's house.
