Some deeds are so quiet and humble that no one notices it. Whereas some words are so loud and shout-ey that everyone can’t help but hear about it. Eg. certain millionaires who are appearing in the legal courts recently.

We have to trust that something meaningful is unfolding in the future as we work in the background of the present moment, which is out of the awareness of most people.

It is not easy to be a quiet worker. Our ego wants recognition. so I often ask God for help, reminding myself that I exist to do what God wants, not what I want.

And it is easy to be discouraged. In our dark moments as individuals, we have “plug into” the collective body, and encourage one another to persevere and cultivate the virture of patience.

P. S. Jesus taught his disciples to pray in secret and to fast in secret. When no one but God sees your fasting and praying, your reward will come from God and no one else.
