normal school starts from monday.. fml man i dont want to go back yet, i want to stay cooped up at my house.
i recently started working on a linux init because hilbish is pretty stable now. its still pre 1.0, but is very usable daily. actually, im working on a custom line editor so there's no dependency requirement for readline. this also means line editor is pure go, no cgo, faster compile, tailed to my (hilbish) needs.
back to the init. its pretty interesting searching about unix stuff, since i never knew what the init actually did its called RosetteRC and is probably gonna be very slightly like openrc. the uniqueness is service files are probably gonna be lua and rosetterc is written in go.
-- im so glad i have someone contributing to hilbish now. its my biggest personal project, and a few people actually know about it ^-^
the init is a 100% free time thing, as i doubt itll be of practical use but its fun so doesnt matter
