// SILHOUETTE
Beyond your trip darkened one-way street
Dawn comes creeping
Across your deep, lovely game
I'll let tomorrow scatter
Now tell me, closing your arms,
and staring at those most distant shores
Who will remember you
in fishnet embers, corpses of carved onyx,
the sleeping beauty's broken prince
a little bit of black pearl lurking in the headlights
staring back at me
Spangled threads, and ribbons from the flame
Filthy nails open your pretty dress
We claw at being strangers
but I can never touch you close enough
Your perfume wilts with every step
Rusty stains smear the stairs
Watching the moment play to obscurity
Fading graffiti
A feeling eroded
just outside the doorway
