Klaus on Tilde Town

kzimmermann's self-hosting is back.

After my previous announced hiatus, I'm glad to say that my self-hosted services are all back - finally!

I found an ISP that is robust, stable and cheap enough for me. However, there's one small caveat: hosting things with them only works via IPv6. I'm constrained to Carrier Grade NAT when running on IPv4.

I guess that sad side effect is one for the best: I previously never personally worried about the availability of IPv6 in my networks, and only after this realized how big of a problem the IPv4 legacy "baggage" is today. This in turn has made me a supporter of the technology and the full migration to it everywhere.

So, see you around in my self-hosting world via IPv6!
