were those who had not yet discovered just how interconnected everything is.
People who were convinced that being complicit in some evil agenda was OK as long as your
role was small enough. Which of course is the mentality that leads to endlessly sub-dividing
the workforce until no ONE person is truly at fault for anything.
Meanwhile, those who did realize how interconnected everything was
seemed to have developed a whole spectrum of ideologies justifying
for the extent to which they are complicit in things that are detrimental to humanity.
